Our base station system lets you monitor and track livestock in remote areas with limited or no cellular reception. The base station is the only part of the system that needs to be within range of cellular reception. It is the channel through which you gain access to your out-of-coverage assets and animals.
Your collars communicate with the base station via radio signals – no cellular reception needed. The activity sensor on the collar monitors animal group behaviour (movement patterns and activity levels) and triggers alarms when activity deviates from the animal’s normal behaviour. Abnormally high or low activity instantly alerts you via the Agri-Alert app on your smartphone. The GPS sensor on the collar offers precise location tracking within 5m, custom virtual boundaries (geo-fences), and instant notifications when animals stray beyond designated zones. Receive separate alerts for concerning activity and geo-fence breaches, so you know exactly what’s happening and where.
